On the trail of Meissen porcelain

Even though Meissen is famous for having the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europa – the invention of the „white gold“ took place in Dresden.

Join me on a tour of discovery, to track down the trail of porcelain in Dresden!

We start at the location of the secret alchemist laboratory where Friedrich August Böttger found out the secrets of Chinese porcelain.
This spot is situated at the beautiful Brühlsche Terrasse, which is called “Europe’s balcony”: You will see magnificent works of art made from this precious material. You will see it, feel and even hear it on our walk through the old town of Dresden.

As an enjoyable completion of the tour we will have our coffee and cake from real Meissen porcelain tableware.

Upon request we will visit the collection of porcelain from China, Japan and Meissen in the Zwinger Palace.

Of course, you will also see all the highlights of Dresden on the walk through the historic old town.
